What data we process

Last updated: 3 November 2026.

When you visit the site

Your browser sends the server your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. This happens with every site: the data is used to run it and to protect it from abuse.

When you contact us

We receive the data you choose to give us: usually your name, company, e-mail, phone number and the content of your message. The contact form neither sends nor keeps anything on the site: it opens your e-mail program with the message already written, and you send it yourself.

Cookies and Google services

The site saves no cookies of its own. What reaches Google through the site's typeface and the map is explained in the cookie policy.

Reviews on the home page

We show some reviews published on Google, with people's names shortened. If one is yours and you want it removed, write to us.

Why we process it

We do not use your data for advertising and we make no automated decisions about you. Giving us your data is your choice, but without contact details we cannot reply.

Who receives it and for how long

Who receives it

The people in our office who need to deal with it. The providers of the services we use process it on our behalf: Aruba S.p.A. for the web space and certified e-mail, Microsoft for e-mail. When needed, it also goes to those who help us with accounting and legal matters, or to the authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

Microsoft and Google may process the data outside the European Union as well, with the safeguards set by the GDPR.

For how long

Messages, for as long as it takes to reply and to manage the jobs that follow. Invoices and accounting documents, 10 years, as the law requires. Browsing data, for the time set by the web space provider.

Your rights

At any time you can ask us to:

  • tell you what data we hold and give you a copy;
  • correct or delete it;
  • limit its use, or stop using it if you object;
  • give it to you in a format you can take elsewhere.

Just write to commerciale@worldrecycling.it. If you think your data is being mishandled, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
